Michael is a young boy and co-author of “Bash and Lucy Fetch Confidence,” a kids’ dog book about a boy trying to convince his soccer coach to allow his dog to keep him company while he plays. Lucy has so much to teach the team about sports, teamwork, friendship–and life!
Michael’s co-author, Lisa Cohn, is an an award-winning writer and author who has written about numerous topics, including youth sports, parenting, the arts, and environmental issues. She always dreamed of writing a children’s book with one of her three kids, and is excited that young Michael is her co-author and chief blogger for this dog pictures book series. Lisa’s articles have appeared in numerous national publications, including The Christian Science Monitor, Parenting, Mothering, Brain, Child: A Magazine for Thinking Mothers, and others. As an author she has been quoted by the Associated Press, Washington Post, Christian Science Monitor and Seattle Times.
I came here after searching for the book on dogs which is suitable for children. This seems lovely I think I’ll be getting it soon. My daughter is just a toddler now but I want to bring a dog home as she gets a bit older & this would be perfect to introduce her to the idea.
