Fun With Dogs: How Dogs Make Kids Laugh

Having fun with dogs is a favorite activity for Michael, co-author of “Bash and Lucy Fetch Confidence.”
Here’s a video of Hudson that always makes Michael laugh:

Dogs often chase their tails because they’re bored or have energy to burn. Hudson often grabs onto his tail when he’s looking for something to chew on.

it’s interesting to note that some dogs chase their tails too often. Tail-chasing becomes an unhealthy “obsession.” We don’t think Hudson is obsessed with his tail; he’s just having a little fun with us from time to time. However, if your dog does this over and over, you might want to stop encouraging him by laughing, petting him or urging him to chase some more.

Instead, make sure he gets some exercise or give him something to chew on. One of Hudson’s favorite things to chew on is a Kong stuffed with peanut butter.

To keep Hudson busy, Michael often throws the ball with him. Be sure to subscribe to Michael’s blog by entering your email in the box to the left. Kids can learn more ways to have fun with your puppy or dog. And check out Michael’s book, “Bash And Lucy Fetch Confidence” by visiting the home page.

Hudson is such a little cutie, that video made me laugh too. In my family it’s always been said that dogs & children shouldn’t be kept together, as all dogs hate children & children always poke & pull the dogs. I don’t think that’s a problem at all, if you teach your kids right.

Puppies are the best way to make kids laugh & teach them the values of loyalty, friendship & responsibility in my opinion.
